A church can often be defined by the doctrines it holds and how it prosecutes worship. What follows is a brief summary of what we believe. For a fuller expression of our beliefs, be sure to follow the link at the bottom of the page for the confession of faith we affirm.

  1. WE BELIEVE in the Scriptures (Old Testament, 39 books and New Testament, 27 books) as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are supreme and final authority in life and faith.
  2. WE BELIEVE in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the
  3. WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man.WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and
  4. WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but, also, that spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the
  5. WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that we who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.WE BELIEVE that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as their
  6. WE BELIEVE that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as their
personal Savior are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.WE BELIEVE that all whom God the Father has given to the Lord Jesus Christ
  7. WE BELIEVE that all whom God the Father has given to the Lord Jesus Christ will most certainly be redeemed.WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, that He is their
  8. WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, that He is their
comforter and guide, and that He seals them unto the Day of Redemption.
  9. WE BELIEVE the Church of Christ to be the entire company of believers,
baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body.
  10. WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord and in His ascension into Heaven, where He now intercedes for us as High Priest and Advocate.
  11. WE BELIEVE in the personal bodily return of our Lord and Savior Jesus
    Christ.
  12. WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection and judgment of the saved and the bodily resurrection and judgment of the lost; the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
  13. WE BELIEVE in the existence of Satan, the deceiver and god of this present world; that he was defeated and judged at the cross, and therefore, his final doom is certain.
  14. WE BELIEVE the two scriptural ordinances given to the local church are
Baptism by immersion, of believers only; and the Lord’s Supper, to be partaken of by believers only.
