Elder: Richard Hahn

Dick has faithfully served as an Elder at Austin Square Baptist Church for the past 23 years. He and his wife of 23 years, Diane (Del), live in Peabody, MA.

He graduated with a B.R.E. from Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale University) in Canada. Dick brings a loving, caring personality to the ministry, with an emphasis on counseling.

Dick has served in various capacities over the years. In the past, he has served as youth leader, a deacon, and has taught Sunday school from K-Adult. He has also lead a young adults group, participated in nursing home ministry, and done outreach to refugee Cambodians.

Dick recently retired from his position in the medical field.

Elder Michael DeAngelis

Michael DeAngelisMichael has been an Elder since 2009. He serves the church in teaching, preaching and administrative roles. He also leads the strategic vision plan process and helps oversee VBS and our Communications Committee.

Michael has an empathetic ministry to those struggling with illnesses. He received kidney and pancreas transplants in early 2015, enabling him to return to fuller service. He holds two masters degrees in nutrition and works in the communications field.

Michael, his wife Susan, and have teenage twins, Zachary and Samantha, and live in Wakefield. He unwinds by singing, cooking (and eating), and enjoying time with his family.
